Overview
A Grand Palace and Wat Arun tour is a must-do for any visitor to Bangkok. It’s an opportunity to witness the splendor of Thailand’s royal heritage and immerse yourself in the country’s vibrant spiritual traditions. The Grand Palace, once the official residence of the Kings of Siam, is a sprawling complex of ornate buildings, halls, and temples. It’s a feast for the eyes, with its shimmering gold-leafed roofs, intricate murals, and meticulously crafted statues. Across the Chao Phraya River stands Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn. This iconic temple is renowned for its towering prang (Khmer-style tower) adorned with colorful porcelain and seashells. The view from the top of the prang, overlooking the river and the cityscape, is truly breathtaking.
